These hunts are geared towards puddle ducks and geese in small ponds, rivers and swamps. The majority of birds we get are wood ducks, mallards, teal, black ducks and Canada geese. Getting to the honey hole with 16 to 20 foot Jon boats, canoes or hiking in by foot is the norm. If you are a local you will be blindfolded getting in and out of our secret spots! Guide, decoys and boats included. This trip is for 1 to 4 hunters.

We hunt a diversity of ecosystem types while in pursuit of Vermont waterfowl. If you sign on for one of these trips you could find yourself in duck habitat ranging from the big waters of Lake Champlain chasing goldeneyes and bluebills to small boreal ponds in the Northeast Kingdom in pursuit of hooded and common mergansers. Or we could end up somewhere down the fertile backwaters and acorn swamps of the Connecticut River valley hunting prime wood ducks and teal. It all depends on what species you are after. One thing is for sure, the diversity of birds and Vermont's incredible landscape will keep you coming back year after year. Four nights lodging included. This trip is for 1 hunter.
